This is an old motel that has not been updated in years; it is run down. The bathroom was clean as were the sheets. It had free wifi which was nice as well as a mini fridge in the room. There was also a couch in our room which was a nice surprise. Other than those few perks it is... More

I made the mistake of staying here twice. The second time was because I forgot how bad it was the first time. We found dead cockroaches in our bathroom. The lobby has a peculiar odor. The shower surround was moldy, the vent hadn't been cleaned in a while,if ever. The bed was uncomfortable and my wife wanted to leave the... More

I made the mistake of not checking the reviews on this hotel thinking, "how bad could it be for one night?" ha. We spent a lovely evening watching the laser show at Stone Mountain, just to come to check in here to find out there is not elevator so you have to drag your bags up the stairs. The A/C... More

Typical configuration for this flag with a some perks such as breakfast. Also a coffee maker, frig and microwave were in room. Overall this was a clean hotel and good highway access. A downside is the building is aging. Limited electrical outlets were in the room. All electrical appliances were run from one outlet and there was only one other... More

I reserved rooms here for 5 adults and 12 girl scouts for a weekend trip to Stone Mountain, after returning from a amazing day at Stone Mountain, we returned to the room. Immidietely after we were harrrased by other guest who were walking around banging on our doors and leaving, they made nasty comments to the girls and the adults,... More

I booked this through Choice Hotels, it looked clean in the picture and it was close to what we were wanting to do. When we pulled up, I thought OH NO... nothing like the picture. There were people walking around that looked like they were up to something. We did NOT feel safe at all staying here... The bed was... More

I am actually at the hotel as I write this...it couldn't wait. I feel no real need to describe the place as, after what I have to say, the state of the exterior shouldn't matter to anyone. Long story short, the exit at the end of the hallway furthest from the desk is kept open to facilitate the unsavory activities... More

EconoLodge Stone Mountain should be avoided like the plague! It is rundown and crumbling at the edges. The plaster exterior & parking lot pavement is cracked and dirty. The sign indicating its driveway is virtually invisible. The neighborhood is dirty, rundown, and looked dangerous to be out in on foot. As we entered I saw that the desk was behind... More

We booked this reservation through the AARP site. We thought "Uh-oh" when we drove up Mountain Industrial Boulevard. We chose this hotel because of its proximity to Stone Mountain. The room was adequate. However, the security latch was broken. We did not discover the broken latch until about 11 p.m. A door leading outside at the end of the hall... More

We were looking for a low-price one-night hotel for our family near stone mountain. I realized when checking in that this was not a high-tech hotel. The credit slips were filled out by hand - I had to wait for 20 minutes to check in. The room was OK but there were small German roaches. Linens and bathroom were clean.... More
