This was the first time I had stayed at an AmericInn Hotel. The rates were cheaper than the competitor just down the road, and the hotel appeared to be attractive and appealing, judging from the pictures on the web site. My family was skeptical, but we were all pleasantly surprised as we turned onto the street where the hotel is located. It's on a side street just off the "main drag". The exterior is attractive, and the hotel is situated on a little lake. There was a nice-looking restaurant right next door, which appealed to us, as we were tired and didn't want to venture far for supper.
The lobby was lovely, with two separate seating areas, one with a fireplace and the other with a great TV. Our rooms were modern, fresh, and clean. The beds were comfortable. Other amenities were a microwave, mini-refrigerator, and flat screen TV.
