My family rented out the Boise Guest House to lodge out of town guests for a surprise anniversary party for my parents. The rooms are large, well furnished, clean and inviting and seem like they belong to a nice vacation home or spa and are far nicer than typical chain hotel rooms. The owner is very friendly and helpful and... more

We needed just a few extra days prior to our possession date of our new apartment, we were delighted to stay at BGH again. The room was perfect, clean, comfortable and all our needs met with a smile. When the city took down two massive trees out front, a tragic loss, 4 baby squirrels were rescued. Eve-Marie was great, she... more

What a find! Anyone staying in Boise for a short or long visit should book a place here. I stayed at the Boise Guest House for two nights during a semi-cross country road trip and had a very positive experience. I arrived at night and was really impressed by the easy, but safe, self entry system. The guest house has... more

We recently stayed in suite 5 for one night. Great location; can walk to restaurants and other attractions downtown. The house is quaint. I liked that it is an old house, but finished simply and with some contemporary accents; not overdone antiques or "foo-foo" furnishings. It reminds me of the house where my grandparents lived. Our suite had a kitchenette,... more

I work in Boise fairly regularly and stayed at the BGH exclusiviely this year. I love it. The rooms are interesting, clean, and have everything I need to feel at home. Eve-Marie is a great hostess. I would recommend this place highly! more

I think one of the best parts about this hotel is the location, we biked/walked everywhere. Within a few blocks we went to a great restaurant, a bike shop, and some great hiking. The benefit of staying at this hotel is that it has a small kitchen, as well as a nice TV. I also loved the landscaping of the... more

I was appointed the task of finding a location for a team meeting in Boise that would have convenient airport access, allow for comfortable meeting space and the preparation of meals. I found the Boise Guest House through my online research and it was perfect! Each room was nicely apppointed with great colors and equipped with a kitchenette, coffee pot,... more

I have traveled alot in my life, in many countries, and almost universally what I find when staying in places where it is the business of the place to give rooms to travelers is that the subtle 'feeling level' is not clean. This is not an easy thing to describe to the public, but what I mean is that I... more

I was here for a team meeting and we cooked our own meals. This was a great location, grocery store close by (WINCO) and each room had its own frig, stove/oven, coffee pot, micro. The place was very clean, owner very nice and it suited us very well. Each room has its own look and very functional. more

One of my other colleagues lives in this area and found this place for a team meeting. Very cute victorian style home that has been converted into 6 mini suites with kitchenettes. It was a FABULOUS place to have our team building. But, it would be just as nice to stay in for other business or leisure travel to Boise... more
