Don't be confused by the motel look of this place. It has been renovated and is a fun boutique hotel. It's within walking distance of the main drag and they have free bikes for use. I would go back! We stayed on the ground floor by the back of the hotel and it was quiet.

Went to Boise for the weekend and stayed at the Modern. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean and nicely furnished. We had our 5 year-old so we didn't get to experience the bar - next time for sure. Can't wait to go back.
