We have been going on a week long camping trip to Coeur d'alene for the last 3 years. We normally stay at the wolf lodge camping ground across the highway. This year we decided to switch it up a little. We chose lake couer d'alene camping resort because of the amenities...swimming pool, hot tub, lake, and boats! the 2nd night... more

We have done lots of camping, but we felt like there was always the "camp police" wandering around looking for offenders. DO not come here if you have dogs and kids..You cannot swim with your kids in the pool unless someone stays with the 11 year old dog back at camp who is tied up and sleeping! We were unable... more

messy and dusty . Tiny sites. Unfriendly and bossy management. "Do not" signes all over the place> Will never come back here. The place is just a mess. Not nice for children or anyone else. more

We pre-booked our stay along with 5 other families and asked that we all be together. When we got there only a few of the families were camped together. The campground was very clean, as was the pool and hottubs. The playgrounds were great for the kids. It would have been nice if the pool would have been open before... more

I called to book a reservation, and asked for a description of the campground. I was told that it was a nicely wooded campground "on the lake", with trees dividing the sites. When we arrived, we were directed to a parking space the width of an RV in a rocky ravine, and close enough to touch our neighbors (both sides).... more

I was not impressed with the campground sites were very small ! Just stayed there to sleep looks like rental boats and paddleboats were in a swamp not impressed. The pool was clean and everything smelled like cleaning solution. Would not go back there are other parks in the Coeur d'alene area much nicer !! more

This campground has recently changed ownership and is now called A-OK RV park. I stayed here for almost a full week as part of a family reunion where we had several tent sites, two cabins, and an RV site. Overall, the facilities at this campground are very nice. The cabins are cute and well-maintained and the pool was clean. As... more

We LOVED our stay here. It's the first time we've stayed at a KOA and we were pleasantly surprised by how wonderful it was! We stayed in the KOA cabin and enjoyed every minute of it. The cabin was spotless and we found with one full sized bed and the bunkbeds that it was the perfect size for a family... more

We stayed in the KOA's "park model" for five nights at $120/night. It is a 420 square foot manufactured home at the top of the hill. The website indicated the kitchen is fully stocked, but there wasn't even a can opener! They did have some pots and pans but no serving utensils. The entire house was dirty, the carpets smelled,... more
