Barager is one quiet residential block from Lake Couer d'Alene, so in terms of location it was better than we expected. Aside from the great location, comfortable bed, fluffy bathrobes, chocolate kisses on the nightstand and video library with available evening complimentary snacks, two additional features stand out to make Baranger so memorable.
1) We have never felt more comfortable and so well received at any establishment (even our upscale hotel experiences) than at the Baranger. Catherine went over every detail; from the essences we could use in the hot tub to eualyptus drops we could use in the steam room to the planetarium-like star show called "sleep-under-the-stars" (which indeed was impressive) available in each room.
2) In the morning, Catherine prepares a coffee tray, complete with Biscotti, homemade frozen juice and a note indicating who would be joining us for breakfast and what would be included in the breakfast menu. Breakfast was sit down served... more
