I just got back from my visit and can't rave enough about this lodge. I stayed in the Royal Chateau room. Deep royal purple walls, old wooden antique bed with a huge carved headboard. Top quality bedding on the Sertas. My room had several antique pieces in it...it was just beautiful. And it was spotlessly clean. The bathroom had a whirlpool tub that was deep and stocked with fabulous soaps & shampoos. This place is all about the little details.
Doors on each side of the room opened out onto a long porch...you can look out over the Clearwater river on one side and the other opens up to the woods.
The staff & owners are friendly and make you feel welcome...Perfect place to get away - perfect romantic getaway!
So quiet and peaceful here...just wish I could have stayed longer. more
