This is a small motel within reasonably easy walking distance of McCall centre. Rooms generally were of good standard with everything working. A very reasonable basic motel. The room at the Scandia Inn was fine but the service was lacking. We did not feel welcome or appreciated as guests from the time we checked in. I'm sorry to say we will not stay again and we were disappointed enough to share our experience. more

The Scandia is (I think) the second cheapest room in McCall. The Woodsman takes first. Although the Scandia is not budget by Idaho standards, it is by resort town standards. Mold on the ceiling, walls and floor of bathroom. No A/C and screen was torn so opening window was problematical. WiFi did not reach to end unit and our laptop did not have an ethernet connection for the offered connection cable. Pillows were the thinnest I have experienced in any hotel. Although I usually prefer to stay in chain hotels, all of them were booked in McCall this particular weekend, so we ended up staying at the Scandia Inn and I'm glad we did.
