New, clean hotel, easy to get to. Good towels and comfortable bedding; although the mattress seemed to have some sort of plastic covering that was rather stiff and made a crinkling noise every time you moved. The front desk clerk was rude and initially made no effort to accommodate our request for a top floor room, although there appeared to be plenty of vacant rooms. She told us the rooms were all reserved for a soccer tournament. We were there on a Tuesday for one night, the soccer tournament participants were not arriving until the next weekend. Her logic escapes me. Anyway the front desk manager the next day was very nice and made up for the clerk the day before. All things considered we would recommend the hotel, hopefully the manager has talked to the clerk and explained customer service to her. more
