When we arrived in Salmon at around 7pm we had no reservation and no idea of lodging options. Wanted something special and in looking on my PDA found great reviews about Syringa Lodge....we set the nav system to the address and were thrilled to find the lodge, close to town but not TOO close. It was quiet, decor was gorgeous,... more

After a grueling day of driving through a mountain storm, this place was such a welcome relief. The beautifully appointed log home overlooking the small town of Salmon Idaho was the perfect place to watch the drama of the storm - wind and rain and lightning - in comfort and safety. I was seeking some quality down time and I... more

We found the Syringa Lodge on line, and were happy that we did. The lodge provided our first night off river and was ideal for charm, privacy, and winding down. The rooms were plenty spacious, clean, nicely decorated, and comfortable. The hosts were warm, helpful, provided privacy and tips for the area, and great cooks to boot! We would be... more

This place is wonderfully decorated, and the bed was absolutely the best bed I have ever slept in! The service was exceptional, and the breakfast fabulous. All this for under $100! The Syringa is a geat place to relax when you have just come in from a river trip. Just remember that it is a B&B, and there are no... more

this was the only b&b we used in our months holiday touring the National parks,so it was very different from the standard hotel. It was difficult to find, but a wonderful building, extremely clean and comfortable. sadly we could not see much of the views because of smoke from distant fires. The breakfast was very good, and we enjoyed our short stay. more

A very well maintained place. The owners were very accommodating & willing to meet any requests. Beautiful surroundings & very hospitible. The only minor adjustment was the rooms have no tv, which is great if you want complete room solitude. Would recommend to anyone looking for a bed & breakfreast place with superior mountain views & log cabin surroundings. B.Winward... more

I hesitate to submit this review because I don't want the Syringa to get so popular that I won't be able to get a room there whenever I roll through Salmon! I am a frequent visitor to Salmon in the summers and Syringa Lodge is hands down the best lodging in town. The rooms are all beautifully decorated, the owners... more

Just beautiful rooms, great view, lovely lobby/fireplace area, friendly, helpful hosts - I wish we could've stayed longer. This is the only place we stayed on this trip - a two week vacation across the northwest - that I can whole heartedly recommend. Salmon itself is a nice small town, too; and the drive from Arco ID (Craters of the... more

Our hosts at Syringa David and Laura could not have been more accomodating. Although recently purchased, they have a welcome mat open for all. Their rooms are beautifully decorated, linen and towels top rate and breakfasts bar none! The food just keeps on coming, homemade muffins, pork chops, eggs, you name it and they provide it with a smile. Easily... more
