We stayed in the Alaska Room for two nights in mid-September. The other room was not occupied and so we had the place to ourselves. The owners live upstairs and the guests enjoy the main level. The house is full of history and beautifully decorated in keeping with the style of the property. Step out of the front door and... more

What a wonderful two nights we spent at Church Street. Heather and Alan are amazing hosts who have thought of everything to make you comfortable. Our breakfasts were delicious and the setting made them very special. Thank you for a lovely stay! more

I attended a skiing event at Schweitzer Mtn Resort in March 2009. Staying at the Resort was over my budget, so I looked into Sandpoint accommodations. I found Church Street House fit my budget. The restored craftsman style property reminded me of my grandmother's house. Every time I walked in the front door, I felt like I was coming home.... more

Heather is thorough in all of the details of the site and the personal attention that she devotes to guests. She has thought of everything a person could wish for and she has created a very welcoming ambiance. This is an immaculate and beautiful B&B and I recommend it. more

I would have posted sooner had this year not been so hectic. I stayed at CSH around Oct 1st 2007. I flew in from Singapore to spend time in beautiful Sandpoint and NID. As is my custom, I arranged to spend a few nights at the CSH. In a world of change it is nice to know that I can... more

This is the nicest place I have ever stayed. The owners are very friendly but out of sight unless you need them. The rooms are cute and accomodating. (soaking Tub and shower in each). Every detail has been taken into account. From the hot coffee and breakfast ready when you are in the morning (whether it's 5:30am or 9:30am) to... more

Wonderful attention to guest, as well as to the room. I pick up great tips on remodeling just by staying at the CSH. As always, Heather was a gracious host. Breakfast, absolutely superb. Pancakes with honeyed pecans, maple syrup, and bacon. Note that I was overseas for a while and had been missing an honest and tasty American breakfast! You... more

This is a wonderful in-town B&B, and a great travel value. The owners have updated this historic home which has two guest rooms. The innkeeper, Heather Hillier, makes the stay a genuine b&b experience; she is attentive but not intrusive. The rooms are updated with full modern, and immaculate facilities. Heather fixes organic breakfasts and she's a good cook. I've... more

For the past six years my husband and I have vacationed in Sandpoint, staying at various hotels there each year. We love the personality of this small, quaint town but were never really satisfied with any of the places at which we stayed so this year we decided to try our first experience staying at a B&B. Searching the Internet... more

We have just returned from a 17 day road trip holiday in Oregon, Montana and Idaho which was truly wonderful. We stayed in many bed and breakfast accommodations during our stay but one of the highlights was our one night stay in Church Street House Bed and Breakfast in Sandpoint, Idaho. Everything about this beautifully restored Arts and Crafts house... more
