I was pleased with the location of Redfish Lake Lodge. It's in the middle of no where, that gives the whole atmosphere a rustic feel. The lake is beautiful and sits at the foot of the Sawtooth Mountains. The lodge is old, warm and imbedded with history with historical pictures and paintings on the walls. It would've been a near... more

I was very apprehensive about my trip to Redfish Lake Lodge after reading all of the reviews on trip advisor and I am happy to report that I was very pleasantly surprised by the wonderful experience I had. My husband I came up for a few days away from town and stayed in the Kokanee Suites, which is sort of... more

My sister and I planned this trip with our grandchildren. Our experience with the restaurant was terrible. The service was horrendous, the prices were high for the quality of food, the staff didn't really care that they were providing lousy service and the management didn't care enough to fix the situation. more

I did not stay at Redfish Lake because it took me forever to talk to someone that worked there. They never returned a call, and when I finally did talk to someone, I felt like such an inconvenience. So I stayed in Stanley instead. more

My husband and I stayed in one of the Rustic Cabins at Redfish Lake in the Fall of 2007. We loved the cabin and surrounding scenery. Lodge, Restaurant, Store and Grounds were all very clean and service was great. Food a little bit expensive, but very good. We fell in love with Redfish Lake. We made reservations in the Honeymoon... more

Redfish Lake is an amazing setting. The Lodge is the only way to stay at Redfish Lake and not stay in a tent. It should not be considered a part of the trip. That said, it took three days to get through to the Lodge (beginning the day the switchboard opened to take reservations). I took the largest remaining cabin,... more

We've been camping in the Stanley area for more than 40 years. As I've grown older my family has gone from tents, to campers, to motorhome. This year we decided to have a small family reunion in one of the “Creekside” cabins. These are some of the newest additions to the cabins at Redfish Lake. The accommodations were excellent, similar... more

Stayed in the cabin and honey moon suite. Yikes... Beware repairs and cleanliness were missed...The honeymoon suite has no closure on the french doors and the shower had black footprints. Yuck! ANd need I say anything about the toliet. Yuck. It was like camping with a roof over your head. Thank goodness for the scenery, but I guess I could... more

We had a reservation for two nights in the lodge. Our room was clean and nice and reasonably priced. The bad thing was it was right over the bar, so we heard talking and laughing until 1:00 a.m. Another problem was finding our room. For some reason the last three rooms were numbered 18, 18A and 18B. We didn't think... more

The reason to stay at any of the cabins here is for the convenience of being so close to the Lake. Redfish Lake is one of the most beautiful spots in Idaho. The cabin is very dated - - think of your college bedspread from 30 years ago - - it's on the bed there. And you know that Bob... more
