This facility was fine. The natural hot spring down the trail is interesting. The bed was comfortable. The room was clean. The staff was helpful. My recommendation would be to get a room upstairs. That way you can avoid dealing with inconsiderate people stomping around late at night. more

Stayed here one night before and one night after a week long rafting/fishing trip on the middle fork of the salmon river. This lodge is where our outfitter told us to stay. The price was right but the rooms were not very nice and right on the highway. The carpet was the inexpensive not really nailed down kind and it was stained. The beds were barely adequate and the bathroom linoleum was littered with cigarette burns. Not the worst place I have ever stayed, but close. more

I could have lived with the older hotel rooms and the dirty hot spring that was 500yards away. But I could not live with the horrible rude and unfrendly staff. Stanley is absoulty gorgeous, I will go back and try my luck at a different Hotel!! more
