The Inn is a real surprise in a small town on I-90 in Idaho. Wallace is an old mining town set in the mountains. The Wallace Inn is well maintained and easy to reach from the freeway. Rooms were large, clean, quiet and well appointed and the on site restaurant was convenient. Pool and hot tub were well done. All... more

The hotel is a short stroll to the colorful core of Wallace, Idaho. The overall condition of the hotel seems to be in need of refurbishment (e.g. worn carpeting and wallpaper in hallways). The room was large and clean. Staff are pleasant. Odd pricing as online through 3rd parties was $10 cheaper than directly with the hotel. When presented with... more

My family and I stayed here on the way to North Dakota, and chose it again on our way back, without reservations each time. The room was clean and looked like a standard hotel room, nothing special. The staff at the front desk was friendly, and the restaurant was very good for breakfast, with most meals priced below $10 (great... more

This one can't be beat after a hard day of skiing. Hot tub, steam room, dry sauna, and pool, all very clean and attractive. Is on the edge of town, but still within a five minute or so walk from downtown Wallace and additional restaurants. Nice friendly staff and manager. more

Becareful giving your credit card to these guys, that is all I will tell you. I had an unauthorized charge on my Amex, so I called the Manager directly to get the matter addressed. The Manager said that he would look into it and call me back immediately. The Manager never called me back and when I tried to reach... more

It seemed the best place to stay in town for an overnighter. Our only issue is with the air quality. Ours was a non smoking room- it didn't smell like smoke at all-but what it did smell like was an overuse of room deodorizer. It was so strong- we had to turn off the cooler to decrease it. This was... more

The room was large and clean. It was convenient to drive to Lookout Pass from the Inn and they had a great ski package for Lookout Pass. Our decision to book a reservation with this Inn was based on their advertisement stating that they had internet connection in each room. This turned out to be untrue. The first night we... more

We had a good experience here. First, the hotel is no longer the Best Western Wallace Inn, just Wallace Inn. And you do want to be on the side away from the freeway and an upper floor. Staff was efficient at checking us in. Rooms were nice. No problem with pool noise, like what one person said - then again,... more

We had a great stay at the Wallace Inn. I was so surprised to find a steamroom and sauna in a "middle" hotel. The staff were very friendly -- even to a group of travel-weary kids. I found the rooms and the lobby area to be clean enough that I was comfortable. The pool, hot tub, steamroom, and sauna were... more

This motel has obviously gone downhill. I don't know if it is related to the loss of the BW flag or not. A staff member told me the owner was given a list of things to do that he did not, so BW removed the flag--of course, those requirements could be to do with anything. The lobby is nice and... more
