I stayed actually from the end of June to the first week into July and all I can say is holy smokes the owners and staff bent over backwards to make sure my stay was an enjoyable one! They even offered to drive me to the airport directly when it was time for me to go home! Some of the reviews I've read said the rooms were outdated, but when I saw them, to me I loved the retro look. Even the little touches in the rooms - they were much more homey and not that awful "hotel-look" type of wall hangings and decoration that every chain hotel seems to have. While it didn't have a restaurant in the hotel, there was a cute little diner type establishment literally next door (Nikki's Lit'l BBQ) which you could walk to in about 15 seconds. The room was clean, had a decent sized small refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, computer with free high-speed Internet, and it's obvious that the owners care very much for their guests and the hotel.
