I was a little put off by the ill-fitting slipcovers and folding chairs in the lobby. But the room was clean and not worn-looking. It's only about 10 min from Champaign's campus-town. For a short stay, this hotel is great for low rates. The only reason to stay at the Microtel is if you want easy access to the interstate and nothing else. The place is in the middle of a cornfield! There is nothing around. NOTHING.
