My husband and I spent two amazing nights at the Four Seasons Chicago in October 2008. First, the view: We were on the 42nd floor with a view of the lake on one side and the city on the other. The sights were breathtaking and ever-changing. It was a real challenge to pull myself out of the room. Second, the... more

Simply amazing. Location's great, service staff fantastic (concierge remembered my name 4 days after speaking with me for less than 2 minutes) and attention to detail cannot be faulted. Not once was I interrupted by chambermaids either to make up the room or for turn down service although I was in the room at irregular times of the day. The... more

I'm writing this review almost a year after the fact, but it seems like yesterday that we stayed there. Wonderful experience for two adults and a "tween." I highly recommend the package that allows you to get the ice cream man to come to your room! My son loved it. We had a room with a view overlooking Michigan Avenue,... more

Based on the Best of Chicago magazine August 2008, my husband and I went to enjoy martinis at the 4 Seasons Lounge before dinner. I ordered a premium gin, a little dirty, with blue cheese olives. Here we are, in this prestigious hotel expecting to be treated to an excellent beverage. What we got was a sub-par martini, and it... more

My husband and I received a one-night stay at the Four Seasons Chicago as a wedding gift. We spent the night at the hotel after our wedding and it was absolutely perfect. As soon as we arrived, the bellman took our bags and got them up to our room. We have a flawless check in and check out. We ordered... more

My husband and I just returned from a weekend at the Four Seasons Chicago (our second this year) and it was everything one could ask for in a hotel. The staff is professional and friendly, almost always addressing us by name. I really can't say enough about them. One concierge, Christian, was especially helpful. When we remarked on the cookies... more

Amazing Room and Staff! Great View! It is perfectly located on Michigan Avenue above the 900 Shops. It is across from the John Hancock Building. My wife and I went to Chicago on a romantic get-away and we could not have chosen a better hotel. more

Spent two nights at this property, on business/pleasure. Deluxe executive suite 44th floor, facing west. Nicely appointed room, typical 4 Seasons decor (getting a little tired, IMHO). The room had a very unpleasant odor- I asked the maid about it; she shrugged her shoulders. The shoulder shrug pretty much sums up the housekeeping services at this property: unbelievably indifferent. The... more

In short, this place is unbelievably good. All hoteliers should send their staff to The Four Seasons for a night or two just to see how great unobtrusive yet attentive service should be done. It would be money well spent. We have just returned from spending three nights in one of the hotel's deluxe executive suites and loved every minute.... more

We spent a wonderful Memorial Day weekend at the Four Seasons Chicago. The hotel occupies 20 or so floors of a 50-story building at the top of the Magnificent Mile, just 2 blocks west of Lake Shore Drive. The location is very convenient, not only to the typical tourist spots of Michigan Avenue, but also walkable to the less-touristy but... more
