My wife, son, and I stayed here for a few days in March as part of a mini-vacation. The hotel accommodations, the service, the location, were all excellent. I travel a great deal for work so I experience both sides.

At the ground level I was met by a bellman who quickly got my bag from the cab and inside to the elevator bank. The fact that the lobby is not on street level provides an added sense of privacy and security. The location of hotel provides easy access to the theatre district. Rode Amtrak from Milwaukee to Chicago Union Station and took a taxi from there.. Hotel was excellent as was the area, clean, felt safe and fairly quiet.. Great breakfast. Good restaurants nearby. Staff was very helpful, especially with a tour and transportation.
