I was lucky enough to return to Chicago and of course made reservations here. The place is as wonderful as it was years ago ! Tom and Mike are as welcoming as I remember them. The street is still very quiet and peaceful. The place is so elegant and comfortable. This time we stayed in one of the front rooms... More

We stayed at Flemish house for four nights and it could not have been better. Our flight arrived early in the morning, Mike and Tom made sure our room was prepared early so we could have a place to clean up and relax upon our arrival. They gave us all the info we needed for transportation, places to see, expected... More

I guess everything has been said about the Flemish House: Wonderful host, very large and well equipped rooms, quiet (apart from the air-con noise of adjacent rooms and houses - even if your own one is down), ideal location. Two things that might be interesting: 1) We found the place ideal for a family with children older than say 7... More

We really enjoyed our 5 night stay at the gorgeous Flemish House. Before we arrived Mike and Tom had described the architectural delights of their B&B and we were not disappointed when we arrived. We stayed in the Garden Suite, which was cosy, had plenty of natural light, and a view of the little garden full of spring flowers.Mike and Tom were wonderful... Flemish House is an excellent find if you want to be in the middle of things but not in an impersonal hotel. The welcome and service were great and our room the Garden Room had it's own little courtyard...although too hot to sit in. Free wifi is another great advantage. Breakfast was left in the fully kitted out kitchen each... More

Beautiful B&B. Tom, one of the owners was helpful & hospitable! We had a wonderful stay here. Loved having breakfast items readily available and having the kitchenette was also handy. It had a great location. The neighborhood is quiet, yet close to everything. Our room was comfortable and clean. Looking forward to staying here on our next trip to Chicago. More

The decor was attractive and the beds were very comfortable. The location was perfect! We were in easy walking distance tothe shopping on Michigan Avenue in one direction and tons of... More

The location of the Flemish House is excellent: 5 minutes' walk from the top of the Magnificent Mile; 3 minutes' walk from the lake and the beach; close to good transport links (CTA trains and buses). It's situated in on a quiet tree-lined street a residential neighbourhood that has a wide range of restaurants and a Barnes & Noble store.... More

This wonderful little apartment made our stay in Chicago perfect. Beautifully appointed, immaculately clean, quiet, comfortable and friendly - we could not have wished for better hosts or a better location. We don't know if we will ever find ourselves in Chicago again but, if we do, it will only be if we can stay at the Flemish House again.... More
