A busy hotel with a very convenient location, and good front office services. The rooms are quite dated and in need of refurbishment, although the beds are consistent with Marriott's high standards.

Great location. My wife travelled with me while I was there on business. Perfect location. The concierge was great. I thought the bathroom was too small and the bed was not comfortable. But as for location and service, wonderful. Valet parking pricey at $51 per night. The gym was great with good availability of equipment.

This has been my 4th stay at the Downtown Marriott. Once again, the staff was top notch. The hotel was very busy as there was a gymnastics meet in town, but the staff went out of there way to be helpful. (Even to the point of sending a staff member up to speak with our very noisy neighbors.)

great chain. great hotel and great staff....
I had a really nice room, with the best view and facilities I could have... The restaurant is fantastic, they have a really nice wine list and good options for food. Mr. Kevin Pickard, the Director of Restaurants, was incredible helping us during our stay.
Everyone should try their homemade honey beers, cause...

My biggest complaint about the hotel was that the room was quite small. No issues with the room facilities - bed etc. The gym is great - weights separate from cardio. Very nice club loungs and prices that are extremely reasonable.

I have stayed at the Michigan Ave. Marriott many times for business and pleasure. Great access to shopping, restaurants, and Chicago attractions located in the heart of the Magnificent Mile. Good cab service and quick trip to any business location in downtown Chicago.
Service was top notch and friendly, room was very clean, although a bit small. Fantastic Concierge service...

Room was clean and bed comfortable, but small. Bathroom even smaller. With 2 people plus luggage, not a lot of room. Internet should be included. Marriott Fairfield in Madison WI did include internet. Street noise could be heard on 36th floor room. Heat could not be turned down low enough for us to be comfortable. Hotel did provide a fan....

Stated during a dance showcase weekend. Was impressed how well the staff and hotel responded to the mayhem. Beds were comfortable. Had view overlooking the lake. 2 negatives. Room had moldy smell and the bathroom was small. Excellent location and helpful staff. Self park across street. Try to get the pkg else it's $36 plus tax. Valet is $51 plus...

Great location as it's right on Michigan Ave and right in the middle of shopping. The service was also great. Parking was about $32 per 24 hours with in-and-out services. There's a Starbucks downstairs, but there are several in close vicinity of the hotel. We were there the weekend of the football league championships and the bar and lounge downstairs...

This Marriott is in a great location. It is close to every thing - great restaurants, shopping, bars, entertainment. But, it was not a great experience. We are Marriott elite members and booked this hotel 2 months in advance at a great price, When we arrived by cab, cars were backed up for a block to park, then a line...
