I just spent 2 nights at the Raffaello in a suite and found the accommodations to be exactly what I was expecting, a satisfactory hotel near the magnificent mile at a reasonable price. Managed to get a winter special rate of 149.00+ tax and felt at that price this hotel offered good value. Positives: -Location-about a block off the magnificent... More

The hotel staff was very friendly - parking was very convenient and rooms were nice and clean. Room layout a little small (beds are only doubles). Otherwise very nice. great location. Area recommendations I like Magnificent Mile and Streeterville but sometime choose Lincoln Park or River North It depends on what we plan to do. More

This hotel is located on a quite street between Lake Shore Drive and the John Hancock Tower. It is an old hotel that has undergone a recent remodel. The rooms were nice but there were some stains on the furniture upholstery that was very noticeable. The king bed was very comfortable but the queen pull out in the living area... More

The Rafaello is on a quiet, lovely street just between Lake Shore Drive (lakefront) and The Hancock Tower and water tower, close to great skyline views, shopping, many restaurants, pubs and shopping, Oak Street beach and Navy Pier. The concierge were very accomodating. It has recently been updated, and all is slick. Small, nice bar off the lobby where we... More

When we arrived we werre greeted by some of the most friendly doorman we have come across. A smile and great scense of humor. (Even though the weather in Chi-town was horrible during our stay.) This hotel is in prime location to the Magnificant Mile and the Water Tower Place, good distance to some fantastic restaurants. Rush Street is so... More

This is our favorite hotel in Chicago. Excellent location, beautifully appointed rooms, excellent amenities (I just wish they'd add a microwave!) and lovely staff. I've stayed here on shopping trips, museum trips and even when I took the bar exam (I needed someplace I was comfortable to study and rest between exams). We stayed here during reconstruction and post-construction and... More

The Raffaello is a small, boutique hotel centrally located on Delaware off Michigan Avenue (Magnificent Mile). I have stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions with mostly good reviews to report. This visit, I stayed in the "deluxe king" suite. Here are my observations in no particular order: - The suite was clean and well-appointed; the bedding was good and... More

The Rafaello is a "tailored" hotel, like the perfect tuck of a hospital corner. Everything is neat, as are the staff. They are also extremely nice and accomodating. We have not one complaint. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised to see plush robes hanging in the bedroom closet. This hotel even has good-tasting brewed coffee in the lobby bar.... More

Fantastic location. Interesting rooms. Great small hotel surrounded by massive, less personal hotels. Though expensive, had a wonderful meal at Pelago. Got a very good deal on Jetsetter.com for the rooms. More
