While very nice in many respects, this hotel is imediatey adjacent to the Northwetsern memorail Hospital emergency room entrance. Very noisy with ambulances arriving hourly. if you are visiting the hospital however its perfect Didn't spend a lot of time in the hotel, but the location was good and the restaurant advice from the concierge was great. The hotels one block off of Michigan Ave offer a much better value than staying right on the street. Room was big, clean and the staff was very courteous. I think that at a certain level, the staff makes or breaks a hotel. We've stayed in several hotels in downtown Chicago. This and the Courtyard have been the least expensive.... More
