Stayed in Dekalb for state wrestling championship, front dest staff wass very helpful, we had several boys in each room, hotel delivered extra towels pillows shampoo etc... at no extra charge. We attended a wedding reception there on a 80 degree fall day. The banquet hall was miserably hot....the lobby was hot....the restroom was like an oven........ the food was very good, but as far as the facilities and comfort - well below average. more

The rooms were okay to start. Then the trains came every half hour or so - right next to the hotel. These were not quick amtraks - they are freight trains. I would choose another hotel in the area. I wish I had. The room was old and musty smelling with bugs in the carpet. It was certainly not worth the money I paid for it. The staff were not helpful, they were very rude. I asked for more towels and they later brought up 1 towel. It smelled like cigarette... more
