The wonderful thing about having such gracious hosts (Alan and his charming wife Pauline) is that you can't help but be the best you can as you wish to return their warmth and care. So you find that you and your fellow guests are all working together to be courteous and kind to each other. As a result even though... More

Tired and muddy we arrived at Fieldways having walked from Stow-on-the wold. On seeing the beautiful house we were concerned that our boots, teenage sons and dog might not be welcome! However it was soon evident there was room for all of us to relax, eat and enjoy. The rooms were more than comfortable with every detail attended to, I... More

This B & B is a great base to explore the Cotswolds. The rooms are spacious, well maintained and a pleasure to return to each night. We started our days with a hearty and well cooked breakfast, which resulted in our group only having one other meal during the day (normally at a very good pub recommended by Alan). You... More

The owner of this B & B is what makes it really special. He was warm, welcoming and gave us an excellent service. Breakfast was delicious and very big, the room was clean, quirky and very comfortable and the area is quaint and good for walking. I defintely recommend staying there if you are in the cotswolds area. Thankyou Alan... More

We stayed for the New Year and had a blast. Alan and Pauline made us feel like family and like we'd just come home for the holidays. We opted to sample Alan's amazing cooking skills on two nights, and the other night frequented one of the many local pub options. Breakfasts were quite simply out of this world, but be... More

Alan and Pauline overflow with hospitality - they just love having people to stay. Even the dog was loved so much she had a place by the log fire when we went out for a meal. We had two rooms, we could use kitchen, the huge sitting room (with large log fire), the laundry room - pretty much the whole... More

We decided at the last minute to go to the Cotswolds for the weekend and were lucky enough to get a room at Fieldways - and it was amazing! Even before we arrived Alan made us feel like welcome friends; picking up some mince pies for us whilst we were still en-route. From the moment we arrived Alan went out... More

We have just returned from a 3 night stay at Fieldways and I could not go to bed tonight before sharing our wonderful experience with others! Alan is a charming and delightful host who made us feel as if we were his personal guests rather than paying ones! His house is beautiful - elegant and cosy at the same time.... More
