This HGI was up to standards of all HGI's... Nice beds, nice desks, including task chairs. Parking is odd, and there is only a little sign directing you where to park when you arrive at the hotel, which is in a public common parking garage with no physical connection to the hotel. This is the best choice in Evanston. The rooms are very nice, large and very modern. The hotel is convenient to the "L" and the Metra train stations in addition to being adjacent to both downtown Evanston and the campus. Really not much need for a car. Not bad! Clean, comfortable (though mattresses are a little too firm for my tastes), and about three blocks from an "L" station. Parking is in an adjacent garage, and does incur an additional fee. Lots of shopping and entertainment nearby. more
