We stayed here for NU's Wildcat Day. The location to NU was great. The staff was extremely helpful with luggage, cabs to the airport, etc. The hotel has been recently renovated and was clean and pleasant.

Best service in Evanston. Best value for the buck. Best people. I have no reason to ever stay anywhere else when in Evanston. From check in to check out, all was exceptional. Friendly people, efficient and effectiveness make the HG Evanston, the place to stay.

Booked this location and walked to the Northwestern University Campus and the downtown area of Evanston. You may need a car to see the entire campus but the hotel has a shuttle to the campus.
