Arrived on a Sunday afternoon at 2:30 and was told no way to check in until after 4:00 PM. Check in was all about collectiing the money. Enjoyed our stay at the Victorian Mansion. Room was comfortable, clean and the breakfasts were wonderful. Had a few problems with the wireless internet but we finally figured it out. Afternoon snacks and wine were very nice. more

The property is beautiful: we were allowed to wander into rooms that hadn't been reserved and the entire house is grand and cozy at the same time. But we'll never return. The Victorian Mansion overall was amazing. My husband and I travel to Galena every year for our anniversary and every year we stay at a different B&B (this was our 7th!). This was our first experience at a B&B and also our first trip to Galena. My husband and I had such a wonderful experience, that we would love to make Galena and Victorian Mansion a regular getaway.
