I visited the Chicago area for a business trip and was told to stay at the Comfort Inn in Geneva. A glance of the hotel from outside gives a good impression since the building is relatively new. Well, as far as the hotel goes, it may be imaculate....I wouldn't know, I never stayed in the room!!! Yet I was still charged $122.00. To My Fellow Travelers, I'm not a full fledged Road Warrior like some of you, but I'm out enough to know what works and what doesn't. Do not stay here! They operate as if they are going out of business. There were bugs in my hotel room, little bed bugs, and flies everwhere. Hotel property and rooms were extremely clean and well-maintained. The hotel is pretty and is not too far from the mall. A plaque at the front desk said it was the highest rated Comfort Inn in the country. more
