My husband and I just stayed at the lodge. A friend reccomended the place, and we were very grateful!!! We got the room at a great rate ($59) which was perfect, and fit our budget. Stephanie, Thanks for your kind comments. Our team certainly puts in a lot of effort to keep the lodge neat and tidy. We are in the process of upgrading all of our furniture and bedding so that your next stay will be sweet dreams. We stayed one night in a cabin room which is like a hotel room but not connected to the lodge. The room was clean, but very basic - no frills. It was fine for a one night stay. The room was discounted for certain dates in September, which was good because I would have expected more for the full price.... more
Our Family stayed in the Cabins at Pere Marquette and had a great weekend. We rented 6 cabins. They are rustic looking with stone etc.. Sure beats camping. The only thing we didnt like is they need to put a little refrigerator in each room to keep your drinks in. Also we wished they had put some benches to sit... more

We attended a wedding at pere marquette....The food was catered by the lodge and was horrible..The salad dressing was bad, the meat was dry,,and the potatoes came fresh from a box.very disappointing for such and expensive event..The huge problem of the night was that about 20 people were standing because there were not enough table.The grooms mother ended up sitting... more

Fun Stop. Great hiking, nice little town. Fun lodge. It is older so don't expect luxury. We stayed in a cabin - much bigger than a lodge room and clean. Food was reasonable and okay. nancyb19, I am glad to hear that you had a fun time at our Lodge. We certainly try to make the experience unique for all those who visit. We stress with our staff to be helpful and friendly and I apologize if we fell short in that regard. You sound like the kind of individual that would love our Mystery...

Enjoyed three relaxing days, with cabin accommodations. The scenery was breath taking, especially watching the humming birds from the dining room window feeders. Very friendly & helpful staff. The wine bar hostess was very informative regarding the local vinyard and wine process, plus very friendly.
