We loved the Nauvoo Grand! It is situated in a beautiful, quiet area off the beaten path, surrounded by trees and greenery. The hotel is decorated with wonderful antiques and the bedrooms were just as beautifully decorated. The host (Jo Ellen) served us a wonderful gourmet breakfast each morning. The Best of the Best ! From the hospitality of Jo Ellen the Inn keeper, to the wonderful beauty of the home to the 5 star gourmet breakfast. The Home was so well appointed. Full of history. The Nauvoo Grand is a great place to stay. Gloria the innkeeper is very sweet and makes a terrific breakfast. She is more than willing to make reservations for you at local eating establishments. We very much enjoyed our stay and would definately recommend it. more

This inn is absolutely beautiful in every detail and the breakfast was great, but I had an eerie sense that Jesus was watching over me... literally. Kent and Cassie Barrett have done a wonderful job rennovating this beautiful home just eight blocks from Nauvoo's Temple Square. The decor is wonderful and the service is even better. I've recommended this B & B to several of my friends and no one has been disappointed more
