A renovation within the last year brought this property up to date with modern room furnishings along with a wide variety of activities available. My wife, daughter and I stayed there in July 2009 for a quick trip to Chicago area (shopping, Brookfield Zoo etc). I was attending a conference at this property. If you want people to focus on the task at at hand, this is an excellent facility because there is not much else nearby. Don't trust Marriott for one minute! I was quoted one rate by reservations, but after I had worked on setting up my trip, the hotel refused to honor that rate. There are plenty of other hotels that are just as good and don't cheat their customers. I will never stay at a Marriott property again. more

Good for business district, but difficult for getting about without expensive taxi rides when you want to do tourist activities. Shuttle Bus for busines use very good. more
