Wonderfully decorated, friendly and helpful owner. She was there for us for anything we wanted or needed, but there was nothing!Everything was already perfect. Breakfast was excellent, all-around wonderful stay! more

Made reservation well in advance. Showed up and was told that I couldn't stay there because a corperate client needed the room. Unreliable. more

The house is a wonderful example of 1880s architecture. The owner is a wonderful example of a hostess. Mrs. Fessel has decorated with antiques, but has included just enough modern touches to make you feel comfortable and at home. This was my first stay at a B&B and I would certainly stay again! more

A wonderful experience for my first bed and breakfast. A beautifully restored 1886 - 32 room home. Mrs. Fessel is a delight. If you are ever in Olney, Illinois (on the way to St. Louis or Carbondale) do stop in. A great experience. more
