I attended a convention in Peoria and Pere Marquette was the host hotel. I had a fabulous stay-the staff is friendly, helpful and accomodating. The room that I had was very nice, clean, bed was very comfortable...no complaints. We recently stayed at the hotel. We had 5 rooms that we were able to book on short notice due to a cancellation. The hotel staff was probably the nicest thing about the stay. The hotel, itself, is a historical landmark. The lobby is nice and majestic considering the area. The rooms are grossly lacking. The bathrooms are outdated. Passing through Illinois, I called the Pere from my car. Loved the size of the room and they have an excellent, hot breakfast that is included. more

The overall service and room accommodations at this hotel were great. They delivered service with a smile and answered special requests. My disappointments are the neighborhood...a little creepy after-hours and the food at the hotel restaurant. more

This is a classic hotel in Peoria. Beautiful architecture and rooms. Great location downtown. The suites are great! If you are able to reserve an 11th or 12th floor suite, don't pass it up. more
