This is not a vacation or traveller hotel.I pulled into the Econo Lodge at 3 p.m. to see a couple drinking on the "patio" (a concrete slab entrance by the parking lot). The room was not clean smelling, with hairs on the bathroom floor and mold in the shower. No exaggeration. The base of the shower was peeling away, and a tile in the bathroom was dark brown and bulging with water damage. The kicker was that the sliding glass door did not lock, but instead was held only by a security chain. (It could be opened about two inches from the outside)I didn't stay to find out the rest.
