I could go on about the comfortable accommodations, the combination of friendliness and privacy, and the beauty of the surrounding town, but here is what really matters: the breakfast was excellent--especially the fresh orange juice, the cinnamon rolls, and the eggs. Stay here.

Wife and I visited Pontiac, IL to meet with friends and explore the history of the area and the town specifically. We stayed at Three Roses two nights, Friday and Saturday. We had off street parking and a wonderfully quiet stay. Sharon's cooking was excellent and the accommodations were very neat and clean. Our location just a block from the... More

The room facing the street does have the most street noise. It is generally quiet at night but for guests like me that need total quiet to sleep, we provide free ear plugs just in case. I don't believe anyone has ever had a problem sleeping in this room. Marcia's Room is the only room that faces the street. Many... More

This is the second visit for this couple. They feel like family now.All of our rooms have some unique quality that the others don't. Just depends on what you are looking for. I presently have a guest in the least expensive Room, Jennifer's Room, and she absolutely loves it or she is a very fine actress. She likes the privacy... More

Sharon will give you a personalized experience from booking your room to choice of home made breakfast. We three came to Pontiac to see the Pontiac Oakland Museum (excellent) on the Red Carpet Corridor, Route 66 from Cicero to just south of Pontiac. You get a place to park, but you can easily walk to the Route 66 Museum, the... More

I know our website says on the home page that all rooms are located on the 2nd floor and are not handicapped accessible. Some guests don't read everything on the home page. There's a lot of information there. We try our best to make sure the rooms are a comfortable temperature. We have extra blankets in the closets for those... More

The wife treated me to a close to home birthday get-away and I mentioned to her a few times about getting down state to visit some of the small towns. Pontiac is a great place to visit for a day or two and we would highly recommend staying at Three Roses. Sharon is an all out great host. We were... More

It was fun to surprise you with the scones your wife said you loved and the birthday cake to take home. Wish you could have stayed longer than one night so you could take advantage of our 25% off for stays longer than one night. There is so much to see and do, it's hard to pack it all in... More

Starting with the reservation, through check-in and ch+++eck-out, Sharon, the owner of 3Roses is a talented chef, hostess, and decorator.Going to Pontiac for ANY reason, spend a little extra over a local motel and truly enjoy your visit. The entire house is beautifully decorated with period furniture, textiles, art and comforts that are better than home. Personally, I don't make chocolate... More

Thanks so much for the wonderful review Judy. We enjoyed having you stay with us as well. Trip Advisor doesn't let me know when we get reviews so I'll have to fix that so I can respond in a more timely manner. More
