I stayed here just to be close to the airport for an early morning departure. What makes this hotel unique is that the shuttles to/from the airport are run by Thrifty rent-a-car. This is great because it means that you have constant service to and from the hotel. There is a nice business center, but I didn't use it. The... more

Great value for the price, and very convenient to O'Hare. The free breakfast was better than most, and lobby area offered sufficient seating. Comfy bed, free internet, and nice work area. I did not notice any traffic or airport noise. more

This Hampton Inn is undergoing a major renovation. I stayed on the 4th floor - with my Diamond upgraded to a suite. The room was very nice and recently renovated. The 4th flloor is non-smoking but as soon as I stepped off the elevator and all the way to my way at the end of the hall, the place reeked... more

We stayed here en route from London after a long flight, with plans to drive to St. Louis the next day. There was a strong smell of paint in the halls and room (4th floor) and we received written notification in the room that renovations were underway. Fortunately we got used to that pretty quickly (some folks might not). We... more

If plane or road noise does not bother you then this hotel will be fine. It is located between two major roadways and next to the airport. The staff is great and very accomodating. Rooms/bed always comfy. It's your choice. more

In general, this was an average airport hotel. It is in need of some updating, but things were clean and comfortable. I stay in Hamptons quite frequently, and compared to the others this one is a bit less attractive because of the outdated decor. Like others have said, it is in a very industrial area, not really many options for... more

I was a little bit leery that this was really close to the runway. I was relieved that there was only one plane during the night. The rooms and rest of the property were well kept and the front desk staff was helpful and friendly. Housekeeping however was knocking on the doors at 8am requesting to clean the room. I... more

The hotel property is a classic airport hotel, designed for the traveler taking a flight the next day. Located in a nearly industrial area our window looked out onto the freeway with speeding trucks and cars. They could not be heard because of the noisy air conditioner. Furnishing are pretty basic, and while the hotel guides brags about minibars in... more

I stayed here with a group of three friends while in town to see some baseball games. If you have never been to Chicago, this was my first trip, downtown hotels are very expensive. This place averaged us about $100 a night using my AAA discount and booking directly through Hamptoninn.com. The hotel is about a 5 minute drive from... more

I stayed here one night. They were fixing something in the front lobby but it really didn't distract from anything my group was trying to do. They have a little shop with snacks and drinks which is good. The room was great, cable TV choices were plentiful, and they made (hot & fresh) a significant # of cookies in the... more
