my family has been there several times . we go in the summer time&in november for the wonderful christmas doings up there.it is a wonderful place for all ages.when we leave we cant wait to go back again &again&again we love it there.it is very clean&very well kept .the owners make you feel like you are astar .hospitality is wonderful. more

My husband took me to Hickory Hideaway for my birthday! We had a wonderful time. The owners were so friendly and helpful. The cabin we stayed in was clean and so nicely decorated. I would recommend Hickory Hideaway for anyone wanting to getaway. It was a peaceful relaxing place to be. We will definitely come back again! more

I took my boyfriend here for his birthday and it was just the perfect weekend getaway. We drove up on this country road and turned into this wooded area where there were little cabins nestled in between tall hickory trees. Hence...Hickory Hideaway. My husband and I just got home from an overnight stay for my birthday at the Hickory Hideaway. We stayed in a Luxury Cabin. From the moment we arrived at the property we knew we had made a wonderful choice. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. Immaculate cabins, many with full kitchens, on an extremely well run, family property. Northwestern Illinois, just east of the Mississippi River with just enough essential businesses nearby, yet secluded and quiet.
