Stayed 1 night at the Flagg Farmstead B & B. Interesting old historic house lovingly cared for by the current owners and set in a quiet backwater on the edge of Sherman. Absolutely beautiful setting in a country-side atmosphere! The rooms are beautifully decorated, spacious and comfortable, with private baths. The home has wonderful porches for relaxation alone or with other guests, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The host and hostess are friendly, easy to get to know and so accommodating. Room was immaculately clean, bed was comfortable, wonderful breakfast and Rosalie & Doug were gracious and friendly hosts. Each room has its own private bath. Property and original owner (Cornelius Flagg) has fascinating history. I would definitely stay here again. more

We truly enjoyed our stay. This B&B is close enough to Springfield to enjoy the sights there but removed enough to feel like you got away. Hosts Doug and Rosalie graciously welcomed us into their home. more

The property alone is worth the trip and your time. Immaculately maintained, majestic farmstead home on beautiful grounds. It's like a step back in time. BONUS: The hosts are very knowledgable of the property's history, are gracious hosts, excellent cooks, and downright good people. I would recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone. more

This was my 3rd time staying at the Farmstead and it was as nice as any other stay.
