Set in the quiet countryside, this lovely farm offered a delightful night's stay! The owner was very friendly and helpful, as well as an expert cooker of a fine breakfast. We tucked into local sausages and eggs, amid seemingly endless offerings - cereal, toast, croissants, fresh melon... (The croissants were sadly a little mediocre - in comparison to the rest!)... Lovely house and garden, wonderful breakfast and very nice room. We were on a The-yellow-book-trip around Berkshire and Oxfordshire, and Anne´s garden could very well have been a NGS garden, it was really lovely.

I stayed there for 3 nights as I was working close by and I am glad I did, it really is a very nice B&B! The house is very pretty inside and outside, the view is great (garden w apple tress, pond, meadow/field and forest behind), the owners are very nice and interesting to talk too and Ruby is only... This lovely B&B tucked away in the Berkshire countryside was just what I needed during a busy and stressful few days - a real tonic at the end of each day. My room was very comfortable, human and animal hosts so very friendly, and the freshly laid eggs for breakfast simply delicious!

We booked here for an overnight stay prior to the Bramley 20 road race and couldn.t have found anywhere more relaxing. Wonderful people in a wonderful house, Ann use to run a catering business and prepares all her own food, including bread and preserves. Dogs and cats galore and chickens in the garden. A decent pub, the Spring Inn, just... More

What a real find this place was! Stayed here on a 4 day charity cycling trip on our first night. Lovely characterful rooms in a beautiful farm cottage with an array of gorgeous pets wondering around. A bathroom with a huge bath and lots of lovely smellies to use. The owners Anne and Pat were lovely and went above and... More

I stayed for three nights as I was working just to the west of Reading during the day. It's 5 minutes' drive from Junction 12 on the M4 and is run by Pat and Ann Froom. I had the en suite (with shower) double room for £40 a night and the breakfast (included in the price) was fantastic. They have... More

A friend and I were visiting UK for a wedding. We wanted to sty somewhere typically English, no international overpriced Hotel chains were allowed. Over 6 mths before travelling I searched the internet for weeks from Australia until properties that suited my dates could be found. Initially Field Farm was selected as our preferred residence for out entire 3 weeks... More
