I recently stayed at the hotel in September 2009 after a U of I game. Hotel rooms were updated and very clean. The grounds looked really pretty with all of the trees turning for fall. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Would definately return!! more

Our family (3 kids) thought this sounded like a very nice place to spend a couple of days....it advertised an indoor pool, sauna, fitness room, breakfast.....but it was a big disappointment. My family and I were quite surprised at how large the hotel suites were at Eastland Hotel. We were in a room that had a full kitchen including a full size stove and fridge! The service was fantastic. The hotel is set in a woody area and we had a great view. more

I stayed here for 3 weeks for business reasons. The toilet had so much mold in that I started paying more attention to other things. Towels either not changed out or received new one with stains on them. Front desk not helpful at all. This was my second room because first room smelled so much of mildew had to move.... more

This so called hotel has so many problems that it should be closed. To begin with, there was a hole in the ceiling that was caused by a squirrel that was still in the eaves. We really enjoyed our visit to this hotel. An unexpected bonus was that our room was upgraded to a double king suite that had a fireplace and upstairs loft.
