I would have gotten a room down the road at the Sleep Inn, but it was 100% non smoking, so I booked the Super 8 instead.

I'd paid for my room ahead of time, which I had to remind the guy when I checked in. It took him a couple minutes fo checking to see that I had. No big deal there. We got our key-cards and went to bring in the luggage.

Unfortunately, the card-access thing to the side door of the building was broken, so we had to go back through the front door.

When we got up to the room, only one of the key cards worked.

The room wasn't especially clean, but not especially dirty either. Several places on the walls that had been patched up but never repainted, which was unfortunate because there was *something* on one of the walls that looked pretty nasty.

The only vending machines were downstairs around the corner from the elevator. The pop machine gave me two diet pepsis instead of one each time I used it. That's a bonus, even though... more
