I was visiting friends in the Louisville, KY area. I stayed at the America's Best Inn and Suites July 10-12. The room was clean, but had a broken window glass in the front, the battery was dead for the TV's remote control, and the TV offered no local channels...just HBO and a few other cable channels. Apparently this motel did not upgrade their local channels to digital. I had to go to the pool area to use the motel's Wi-Fi signal for my laptop, since the Wi-Fi signal did not reach my room (237). And the last two times I stayed here, the pop machines contained outdated cans of Diet Pepsi that had an off taste (the date on the can was from back in February, and used the old-style Diet Pepsi labeling, instead of the current labeling.) Diet soda tastes awful when it's months past its sell-by date. I had to go to the Circle K across the street to get pop as a result.
I stayed at this hotel 4 times since 2002; first as a Knights Inn, second as an "Economy Inn"...
