Stayed here on our way to Chicago. The service was great. The campground had lots to do. We tent camped in the "rustic" section, which basically means no electricity. If we wanted more amenities, they certainly were available. The price was reasonable. Definitely one of the better campgrounds I've stayed on.

We often camp at State parks so this is our first experience with an independant campground. Nice club house, showers and pool, playground area. Tall trees and over all clean well organized campground. Quiet and friendly polite campers and staff.

I've stayed at a few KOAs, and this is one of the nicer ones. The owners/host were extremely efficient and friendly - I think they're originally from Switzerland. Great campsite, with great amenities ($1.50 washing) super hot showers and clean bathrooms. But the only major downside is that every 30 minutes there is a train that blasts, I mean BLASTS there horns for a good 15 seconds straight! Kind of hard to get a decent nights rest with a freight train running straight through your campsite.
