I reserved a non-smoking room for 3 nights and was given a room that reeked of smoke, had an ashtray and burns on the furniture. I told the staff there must be some mistake but they insisted it was a non-smoking room but did move me to another room that was less smelly but had and ash tray and burns,... more

Don't be fooled by the pictures! When we arrived we found an empty "heated indoor pool". We were told the pool was "broken" and would not be repaired since it would cost $30,000. There was no mention of this when we booked the reservations. The rooms were dirty, complete with hair on the bedsheets! The bath was disgusting - mold... more

Please Note: This hotel has once again changed names. It now goes by Sunrise Hotel! Since we have been going to this hotel it has went from Quailty Inn...to Shadeland Inn...to Econo Lodge East...to now the Sunrise Hotel. On, Sept. 10, 2005, we have stayed at this hotel as it has went through many name/owner changes. We go with a... more

This has to be the worst hotel in the world. The outside is very deceiving. We were there in April, 2005. Our hotel room was disgusting and in disrepair. The plumbing in the bathroom was backwards - when we ran the shower, the water ran all over the bathroom floor. The vent and all other metal surfaces were rusted. The... more

My family and I stayed in the Shadeland Inn from July30th -August 2nd and the service we recieved was terrible. We had to ask for clean towels, the beds were not made daily and in one of the four rooms we checked into the bed was wet when we checked in so we requested another room. In some rooms the... more

We were given four different rooms and all were terrible! the first one smelled of smoke so bad it about knocked us over. We didn't even cross the threshold. The second the back of the toilet was broken in half. The third didn't have the security lock and the door wouldn't latch. In the fourth tiles were falling off the... more

The romm had an awful smell to it. our children found a pair of someone's dirty socks underneath one of the beds. There was mold growing on the walls of this room. The T.V. did not work. the bathroom faucet was just hanging down. Our stay there consisted of less than 2 1/2 hours. We were actually in the room... more
