Check in took forever, even though there was only me. Only other guests seemed to be a couple of scruffy / homeless types - possibly truckers? You could also count the rusted out pickup trucks with 4 flat tires - they'd obviously been around a LONG time. The room - cracked mirror, no alarm clock, lock that hardly seemed secure.... more

My room got robbed, Had to wait for the front desk guy to finish his round of internet poker before he would call the police for me, he refused to return my money for the prepaid room, he then told the police officer and me that they had had trouble with housekeepers not shutting room doors, I had him wake... more

This place is a 26 dollar cab ride away from the airport and should not call itself an "airport hotel," which it continues to do. Supposedly it is near the old airport. Although a shuttle is advertised, it runs when the driver feels like driving (not the night I was there) and is not for free. The place is dingy... more

Booked two rooms during Memorial Day weekend. The clerk had to be reminded to return credit card and license. The door to my room was coming apart. The room was dingy, the toilet was prone to running, and it smelled like dirty wet dogs had lived there. I managed to sleep later that night but when I awoke around 4... more

I was not going to post anything, but other guests' experiences with unreliable reservations are similar to mine. Please take heed! I had stayed at this Knights Inn in 1997 for a week and enjoyed it. With another weeklong trip to Indianapolis coming in July 2006, I immediately looked at this Knights as a first choice. I scoped their website... more

Having never been to Indy before I booked this room for $39/night through travelocity and a room at Motel 6 for $46/night to give us a choice. This was our first stop. The traffic in this area is horrible. I had a hard time just getting into the motel, and even harder leaving. I asked the guy at the front... more

Hi, I'm a travel agent and reserved for my group of 6 to stay at the Knights Inn South the night before we flew out of Indy. When I reserved the rooms, I needed 1 room for 4 people and another one for 2 people. All people requested “Park and Fly”. I was given the price of $49.99 per room...... more

I've never stayed at a worse hotel (more of a "motel" in my opinion). The customer service was non-existent, the "courtesy" shuttle was more of an inconvenience than a benefit, and I was flat-out told to my face that because I was getting a military discount rate for the room, I didn't warrant the same level of service that other... more

We stayed with my wife and two kids and we loved this place. The rooms were clean and comfortable. They have a swimming pool and a nice game room. It is very close to airport, downtown and saved bucks with their shuttle service... more
