This hotel has just undergone remodeling. At first I was set back by the detached buildings but by the second night they grew on me and I enjoyed my stroll down the sidewalks to my room. My first stay at a Homewood Suites. The food from 5-7pm was unexceptional but there was plenty of it, and you could easily make a free dinner out of it. Homewood Suites are usually a great property - nicely appointed rooms, lots of space, etc. This Homewood is in a good location -- near the Fashion Mall and far enough off the street to be quiet. we just arrived back from 10 days at the Homewood Suites. I want to say the staff at the hotel were exceptional. I recommend anyone to stay there not only for the value and newly renovated accomodations (they'll be finished in about 2 weeks), but for the friendliness of the staff as well. Sometimes it seems our group has stayed at every hotel in Indianapolis for race weekends. This hotel worked out extremely well. The suite allowed for adults and teenagers to have separate space.
