We are on an adventure of visiting all the counties in Indiana. Lake County is the third on our odyssey. When looking for a bed and breakfast, I stumbled across "Thyme for Bed" Bed and Breakfast. We love to learn about the history of the area we're visiting and take in some sights. This bed and breakfast is an attraction in itself. It is a monolithic dome. However, there is a world of difference between the exterior and the interior. We stayed in the Victorian Room but were able to view the other two rooms and all were beautifully decorated.

Sherryl, our hostess, had a bubbly personality and couldn't have been more accommodating and was there to answer to any need. Our breakfast was delicious ......... mmmm the pancakes were hearty and tasty. We even learned about edible flowers.

We don't get up to northwestern Indiana much, but when we do, we know where we'll be staying. We were told they are more easily contacted by telephone than email... more
