This lovely home is on Mt. Nebo Road, off State Rd. 135, south of Nashville, Indiana. It is ideal for anyone looking for peace and quiet in a natural setting. It is set right in the Hoosier National Forest. There are trails on the property or you can go into the forest...but make sure you know how to get back :) The owner was very gracious and friendly. She has been in the home for 18 years, and really knows the area. Breakfast consisted of fruit, juices, coffee, tea, and 3 hot dishes. On our visit the hot dishes included biscuits and gravy, pancakes, delicious quiches and potatoes. Iced tea and homemade cookies were left out for us in the afternoon. There is a nice (but expensive) restaurant for dinner about 3 mintues away - The Story Inn. It is known for using fresh, local products and serving gourmet food in a casual atmosphere.
