We were traveling through Lousiville looking for a Holiday Inn Express because of our good experience in general with that chain. But this Holiday Inn express is not nearly as good as many others. The room smelled like smoke. It was really bad in the bathroom and also in the room during the middle of the night. I would stay here again if that was the only option, I did see a Hampton Inn across the street. more

I stayed here from 6/23-6/25 2009. Nice staff at the front desk, and at the Subway Sandwich Shop in the hotel. There is a very nice pool area and a huge game room. I was traveling with other motorcyclists from a week long convention in Peoria, IL. We rode the "old" highways for the better part of the day. Our goal was to stay somewhere in Louisville, but a clerk at a nearby gas stop suggested we try this Holiday Inn Express. The staff welcomed us as soon as we entered the lobby.... more

I have stayed here twice, both this year and last for a work project in the area. The front desk staff is solid, a lot of young people, who aren't always the sharpest with customer service, but are eager to please if you make clear what you want. Totally agree with insuranceguy63 in his review. The hotel itself was really nice, friendly and helpful front desk staff. Breakfast was very nice and good variety.
