I'm not sure I stayed at the same place as other reviewers. The breakfast was simple and ordinary. More effort and cost could have improved breakfast. Thje plumbing is simply atrocious. Our room had a "hammer" (rather loud, too) in the pipes that occurred whenever you flushed the commode. My wife took a shower after I did and when someone... More

I took a solo trip to wander the quilt stores and to see the play, "The Confession" at the Blue Gate Theater. The Morton Street Bed and Breakfast was perfectly situated for me. I checked in at the Bread Box Bakery next door and was escorted to my room. I had the Gardener - it has 1 queen bed in... More

Rented the whole Bed and Breakfast for a staff Christmas Party. Everyone had a great time with the privacy we needed to celebrate as a group. Everyone reported a good night sleep and would come again. Thanks for the cookies and hospitality. I was told that when we return there will be updates. Cannot wait for a return visit. More

I have been coming to Morton Street for over ten years. I always choose this location for my church's ladies group and we rent the whole house. This bed and breakfast experience is a bit different and I think that is why I like it so much. I like the fact that the owners do not live on site and... More

My sister & I stayed here this past weekend to celebrate my 50th Birthday! We had a most relaxing stay at this charming Bed & Breakfast. It is decorated beautifully. We stayed in the "Guest Room". The owners are to be commended for such a wonderful place. And also many thanks to Eva for a yummy homemade breakfast! We will... More

My sister and I enjoyed our stay and the morton street b&b, we where in town celerbrating her birthday. The b&b is right in the heart of shipshewana where you can walk to all the stores. The home is beautifully taken care of with nice big bedrooms and private baths. I loved the big old fashioned kitchen, where you can... More

I've stayed in quite a few B&B's now and my experience at Morton Street was easily the most unpleasant. I was greeted in the proprietors bakery with a "hello" and "we need the second half of your payment for the night". Folks stay in and pay a little more for B&B's so they can be treated like more than a... More

This is a realy great place to stay. You have a nice room in an old victorian house. You are left many conforts. Throws on the couch, cookies from the bakery, flavored teas or coffe. You can play games at the dinning room table or Watch satalite tv in the living room. A diary is left in each room so... More
