I agree with the others. This is certainly the worst motel I have stayed at, moldy smell in room, bathroom floor sagged. Sheets were clean, however. As another guest said, this place will probably be plowed under within 10 years. I don't think it has been updated since the 70s. Howard Johnson quality control is obviously horrible. more

Absolutely disgusting! The entire room was humid and damp (including the sheets!), the bathroom was atrocious, the carpet hadn't been vacuumed in who knows how long and there were cigarette burns on EVERYTHING. Notre Dame football, need a close place to stay all very over priced. The HoJo's under $200.00. I booked it. Oh my goodness. Very dirty, not well maintained and in a questionable area of town. We stayed at this hotel for the UCLA /ND Game (2006). It is close to ND but that is the only nice thing I can say. The four rooms my family stayed in were unkept and unclean. The smell alone was enough to gag all of us. We will never stay there again! more
